From Shorecrest Preparatory School

Founded in 1923, Shorecrest is a coed, nonsectarian independent school that educates a diverse community of students from 3-years-old through 12th grade. Known for its student-centered approach to teaching and learning, Shorecrest is a place where students are known, challenged, and cared for by a dedicated faculty and staff. Shorecrest is an educational leader in the Tampa Bay Area, having earned Apple Distinguished School recognition since 2016. Among its many opportunities for students, Shorecrest offers signature programs like the Center for Medical Sciences, the Global Scholars Initiative, and the STEAM Certificate Program, giving 9th-12th grade students the ability to tailor their learning to their interests. Shorecrest is home to a nationally-recognized performing and visual arts program, competitive Athletics, opportunities for engaged service learning, and the best-fit college placement in the region.
