I've loved my time at Shorecrest! The faculty is outstanding and I have a plethora of opportunities. I am very involved in the musical theater program and in some of the many clubs offered. There's a great sense of community, and there's a college counciling office that helps us with the college application process.

Great school in terms of academics and facilities; however, the administration is quite bad and the student culture revolves around cliques. Because the school is K-12, many of the students form relationships very early on and become very exclusive in terms of letting other students into their friend groups. The administration is known for acting solely in the interest of the board and the investors in the school. They do not listen to the student body even after there were major complaints by the collective student body. The teachers are really great and the facilities are also exceptional. There has been a decline in athletics within the past few years but there still is a decent amount of school spirit.
Shorecrest's reputation relies heavily on perceived status. The student culture lacks diversity and attempts to address seem disingenuous. Teachers are committed, but not skilled in ways to handle problem behavior of students who have come from other schools because of behavior issues.
