A challenging and rigorous curriculum will help your child become successful not only in the classroom, but in life. Those students who are willing to push themselves and take risk learn that they can achieve their goals. A good sports program with swimming, volleyball, g\b basketball, g\b track, g\b cross country. The band, choir, and strings are second to none. These groups compete in festivals around the country earning high marks and even out scoring high school programs. Electives include video editing, pre-law, forensics, robotics, and marine science to name a few. Every student has their own Chrome book to use throughout the day. School has a very diverse population. Foreign languages include Spanish, French, and Chinese.

Sherwood was a good school for the learning part, but when it came to the extra curriculars like drama and orchestra they didn’t really care about them and they barely have any clubs and activities.
I hated it. It was so stressful. The only thing I liked was Forensics and meeting new people. Do not send your children here. It’s so old looking. I feel like only some of the teachers care. They give a lot of homework and some teachers don’t even accept late work. It’s very hard and I had depression while I was here. I would not recommend to anyone.
