Sherwood High School is located in Sherwood, Oregon. This high school does in fact offer a great variety of classes to take! There are lots of electives and computer classes and there is something for everyone! I also liked how the schedule was broken down into trimesters therefore you can take more classes and test different things to see what you like. They also offer a great deal of dual credit classes and ap (advanced placement) courses! The councilors and most of the teaching staff is very helpful as well. Every teacher I had wanted to see me exceed and helped me do that. The only down side is how crowded the school is. Also some of the teachers in the math department do not know what they are doing or they just do not want to help you.

I love how Sherwood High School (SHS) have invested into our sports, electives, and clubs like no other school has in Oregon. SHS also has numerous dual credit programs getting students ready for college, definatly a lot better than what advisory taught us. THey are also expanding into a new high school designed for 2400 students eventually (up from 1600).

What I would like to see changed: Weighted GPA's alongside unweighted, mainly to determine the valedictorian, there shouldn't be more than one. Also, more AP classes would be nice, specifically AP Environmental Science if I'm talking about my needs. Fix early lunch as 10:28 is not a time to have lunch, that is when a lot of us would have breakfast and there are days where we have had breakfast at 7 and are still not hungry by then.
Sherwood High School is a place full of opportunity to explore your interests and make lasting friendships. That said, athletics definitely get more focus from the school system than other clubs and the higher up faculty such as the principal have little to no presence in students' lives. Because of this some of the people in charge don't seem to understand the student population or make much effort to relate to them. On the other side of this however, most of the teachers are amazing at both being welcoming and teaching. They make kids feel like they are their friends, not their lame superiors. Most of the subjects are well managed and the Language Arts courses are an especially positive standout, but the Math curriculum is not very helpful to students in the slightest.
