Shenendehowa High School is a nice place to go to school, with helpful teachers, lots of clubs, and a variety of class options. The school is very focused on athletics, which can be a good and bad since there is a lot of school spirit, but a lot of time and money is focused on improving the athletic teams and not really other areas of the school. I have personally met some of the greatest people here, and the administration works hard to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The academics overall aren’t extremely challenging and many AP courses that I would have liked to take are not offered, but there are some very interesting classes like sociology that they have from colleges. Overall, Shenendehowa is a good school, but there are many improvements that can be made to make the school better.

Even though many currently enrolled students may complain about Shenendehowa, many have no perspective on how good they have it here.

The school offers excellent facilities, with two gymnasiums, two theaters, well-equipped labs, many computer labs, and a modern, recently renovated library.

It's very hard to be at a loss for guidance at Shen. The staff is supportive and knowledgeable, willing to offer help for both academic and non-academic matters. The counselors deserve special recognition for having to see hundreds of students, yet still maintaining a supportive relationship with each one.
Shen is a great school and I have loved my highschool journey here. With having big class sizes, there were more opportunities for me to make new friends and meet so many different people. Something else that I love about shen is how many electives that are offered to students and how there are many opportunities for students to take honors classes if they feel they are above regular level but not quite as advanced as AP. I think maybe the school could try to give the students more freedom by letting us leave school during free periods. Also our school definitely needs a bigger parking lot for students.
