I have absolutely loved Sheldon. I transferred over and the staff was completely welcoming from the start. The people here are really nice, and super friendly. There are no cliques which is super awesome! The teachers are super helpful too, I feel like they actually want to see their students succeed. I have gotten so many resources available to me since coming to Sheldon and I'm really thankful for everything I've gotten here. The athletics are awesome, and not to mention there are a bunch of clubs to choose from. My overall experience here has been super cool here.

Sheldon High School is one of the most diverse high schools in the Elk Grove Unified District. I believe this is why many students love this school so much. We have everyone from different ethnicities, religion, and language all in one campus. Everyone is different and it's great to see a school that has their own uniqeness. With all that is going on in the world each person at out school is able to embrace their different backgrounds and cultures, not being scared to do so and be applauded for it! Being a senior at Sheldon High has shown me to embrace you because their is no one like us.
Upon arrival freshman year, my hopes for the new chapter in my life were extremely hopeful yet petrified. Yet, the aroma in the air of peace and serenity, along with seeing the immensely diverse cliques allowed me to breathe away all my worries. It was apparent that everyone had somewhere to fit in and combine based on similarities, something I struggled with. Teachers were empowering, their words so strong and influential that as a student, tribulations became easily-dominated experiences. Guidance and structure from educators permitted students to resources that allowed a path to appear, to which would otherwise only have been a dream. Those who surround me, desired and undesired, taught me empathy and tolerance in which I am able to apply to future environments. This center of growth pushed me to my limits that will be permanently apart of my identity as I continue to evolve.
