I have attended Shelby Valley High School freshman through senior year. The teachers here try their hardest to make sure that every student is understanding the lesson being taught. They are also very understanding and don't mind helping students in need. The atmosphere in the school is overall welcoming and warm. It is easy to say that the students here feel safe and can learn in a calm environment. I would like to see the rule book change, though. They are rather strict on piercings and holes in jeans.

My experience with the school overall has been very good, but one of the main problems I have with it is that classes are overfilled and it leads to little focus on individual student needs. Regardless, unlike most schools, we are a close knit group of peers. That is one thing that I do appreciate about Shelby Valley
Shelby Valley is a great school with amazing teachers who are very kind and helpful in creating a great foundation for students. They are very caring, loving, and are willing to do anything for their students. It is a great environment that pushes each student to be the best they can be.
