Having moved from a high school in the San Francisco Bay Area to Shasta High School, I was not sure what to expect at first. To my surprise, the administration was warm and welcoming making the transfer process simple and easy! The student body is fun and lively and has loads of school spirit to show -- especially during pep rallies or during times of school rivalries. My experience with all teachers at Shasta has been phenomenal, they are personable, knowledgeable, and truly care about the success of their students! Shasta High School has proven to be an incredible learning environment.

I liked how many different clubs and sports there are to participate in. It makes the experience much more enjoyable! Also, all of the teachers are more than willing to help with subjects I have trouble with! I feel more ready for college now than ever before!
The many faculty members of Shasta High are very dedicated to their job, and although are each very different they try their hardest in their own way. Although there are always students who will go against the norm and get in trouble there are also plenty of people who are kind and can make great friends. No matter what you like there will be someone like you or a club just for that. Although nice and helpful the faculty and process of doing certain things is often difficult or confusing with sometimes a lack of explanation like how you would sign up to meet with your counselor. The campus itself varies in areas, although all buildings are nice and fuctionion to educate there is a definite difference in building age and not everything is up to date. Many opportunities and resources are provide with staff to support you through it, and the access of technology greatly helps with multiple chrome book carts and a free to use computer lab and printer.
