At Sharyland High School every teacher, advisor and administrative is willing to be a guide to students. The climate is both challenging and nurturing, pushing students towards an "exemplary" performance both in academia and extra-curricular. There is little to no tolerance for bullying and discrimination, and being resident to the Rio Grande Valley area (a melting pot of races and nationalities) Sharyland is proud to be part of a multi-cultural insitution.

There are multi-diverse options for course-work and outside of school organizations to nourish students and help them grow into the professionals they dream to be in the future, and educators are willing to take in students of many different abilities and talents and help them all excel to the best of their abilities. A lot of the expectations from the school are high, so you can certainly count on good results from this school.

I liked Sharyland High School because there was a lot of diversity. There was a mix of cultures which allowed you to learn and connect with other people. Most of the students are friendly and the faculty is always willing to help. The educators and level of education is high which prepares you for the future. Also, the safety and the security of the students is very well organized and secured which make it a peaceful and happy learning environment. Overall, it is a great school and I was recommend it tremendously for anyone who is interested in attending.
Sharyland High School has helped me a lot. I remember my first year there, my Freshmen year, it was awesome, but at the same time it was scary, because I didn't know how to speak English, so it was going to be hard for me to made new friends or made a good relationship with the teacher, but I was wrong, the majority of the people in Sharyland understand Spanish, even tho they don't speak it, they understand some words. Taking the classes in English, having conversations in English, doing homework in English help me a lot to become a bilingual person. Definitely Sharyland High School is the best place to learn a new language, and that helps a lot of students to be better prepared for College.
