Shady High is a fantastic school! The teachers are accepting of everyone whether they come from a minority background or not. SSHS offers an excellent opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular activities and school events as well. As a student from this school, they have provided us many opportunities to grow and build our educational foundation. Once you move into the 11th and 12th grades, they prepare you for the SAT and ACT tests. They also help you make future collegiate decisions by providing support and advice. Shady is the best school in our area, and I would encourage anyone looking for a high school in this area to enroll here!

Shady Spring High School is a very good school. It’s a great place to learn and get a good education. The teacher are great and will always help with anything you need. Some teachers have one on one time with you if needed. The atmosphere at SSHS is somewhat like any other high school, but we do have positive traits. Classroom sizes are perfect for any type of learning. For example, like group work, forensic investigations, etc. SSHS has many different fun classes to offer. There is at least one class that every student will love. SSHS is a great school!
Wonderful school and teachers! Although we are in the middle of construction and chaos, the teachers have adapted very well and are doing the best they can in this environment. Once the schools renovation is complete it will be beautiful! Some things are harder to adapt to than others such as not being able to use certain hallways. Since we are all effected by the construction, the teachers and administration have been very understanding towards tardiness.
