Shadow Mountain High School is a very good school with rarely any violence and is dedicated to the academics. There is nothing really bad about it, teachers are great, administration is good, there is nothing to complain about with this school. Also the basketball team is really good, as this is three straight years we have won the state championship!

Shadow Mountain has a great community of people. While the school facilities may not be the best, the community is tight-knit and friendly. As a small-/medium-sized high school, it's very common to recognize people in the hallways. Students are open and accepting of peers from a diverse array of backgrounds, and fights/general high school drama are far less common here than at other high schools. The fine arts and DAAPS programs are top notch, as well. Shadow is underrated, but a great place to spend four years of high school.
My experience at Shadow Mountain was wonderful! I had the opportunity to work with skilled teachers who had great personalities. Despite some problems with the administration being highly controlling, I still had an awesome time. I was very involved with clubs, my fellow peers, and school spirit.
