Seymour High School is excellent. The teachers are friendly, I am challenged in most classes, and there are many ways to get involved. The only change I would wish to see is for all classes to be challenging. Unfortunately, the prerequisites and required classes could see some improvement. However, my higher level courses are challenging, and I really do love this school!

Seymour High is a fantastic place to be if you want to make friends, learn, and have fun. The small school atmosphere combined with the overall kindness of the students, staff, and teachers nearly guarantees a positive experience as a Seymour High school student. While there is not a broad range of classes, the academics at Seymour High are particularly exquisite and truly teach one how to enjoy learning while having fun.
Payson Seymour is a close-knit community that provides a unique experience for high school. There are so many staff members that I got to know so well, and many classes that were challenging and interesting. Although many shy away from small schools because they think they are isolated, the truth is it gives students a chance to know each other better. Your classmates are your friends from your entire childhood. There are so many sports to be involved in, as well as a lot of clubs as well. I never felt like I was at a disadvantage for attending a small school; instead, I saw it as being able to explore more options.
