Seven Oaks Classical School Reviews
Rating 4.44 out of 5 9 reviews
Very unimpressed with what this school offers. Of course, I'm sure it works for some kids and families but overall, I felt like their approach to education is very old school and archaic. They are very much against technology in the classroom and while I think limiting technology is a good thing, having no technology is just as bad in my opinion. Our culture is immersed in technology and we need to make sure our kids have the skills to utilize tech in a balanced way. Children wear uniforms to school and it seemed to me that individuality isn't celebrated. Many subjects being taught just simply didn't resonate with me on their significance. Also, the majority of their educators are unlicensed and that alone was a huge turn off to me. I'm sure their intentions are well but definitely not our cup of tea!
If you're looking for smaller classes and more one on one time with a teacher, then this school is definitely for you. I've been here since its founding, and the bond I've created with both my classmates and my teachers will stay with me forever. It truly feels like they are family and that I've grown up with them, as well as watched them grow. The curriculum is outstanding and like no other, not only does it allow you to further your understanding on topics but also make you think about them long after class is over. The teachers are incredibly engaging and truly have your best interest in mind. The thing I find the absolute best about this school though is its flexibility and how if a whole class is struggling with something, they won't just move on but instead make sure each and every student understands. All in all, Seven oaks Classical School is a great school and I will forever cherish the memories and friendships I've made while there.
I enjoyed the academic curriculum of the school. I have learned a lot in my six years at Seven Oaks. There are so many great teachers who are willing to work with the student and care about their students success. I have gather many valuable experiences from this school, especially since I have been going to Seven Oaks since it's first year. I have seen how far this school has come and I am excited to see where it will go in the future.
