Overall, my experience at Serra Catholic High School was a positive one. This school was able to provide me with resources my public school could not, such as college in high school credits, access to new technology, and courses that would prepare me for my future. Most of the teachers are very good at what they do and very passionate about the subjects they teach. Serra does an amazing job at preparing students for college with their rigorous academic courses.

I am a Senior at Serra. I really love it here! The teachers are funny, kind and very helpful. There are a variety of classes of well, for example, we have the option of taking Chinese as a language class. The teacher changes every year so we experience Chinese culture from a different perspective. The students are very welcoming as well. As a Catholic school, we have masses and religion classes, but as surprising as it may be, we do not have nuns as our teachers. Even if you are not Catholic, you get to learn a lot about the faith and understand other faiths as well. I don't think much needs to change at Serra, I have never found any problems. Everyone is open and welcoming.
I have had a fairly good experience at Serra Catholic ever since my freshman year. I held it to pretty high standards and in my opinion, those standards were definitely met. I think the academics are great, and really prepare the students for college. I have been put in a great position to succeed in college, and I can give Serra the credit for that. This all goes back to the amazing teaching staff and faculty. The teachers at Serra truly care for the most part, and they want their students to succeed and be the best they can be. Safety is also very important to the school itself, and they do a great job at protecting their students. Overall, the school is great and I would recommend going to it.
