Sequoia High School Reviews
Rating 3.94 out of 5 325 reviews
Sequoia’s TRC (teen resource center) program for mental health has an amazing team! Curriculum and academics are decent, the STM program is top notch and offers a variety of advanced classes. The school has caring and devoted teachers who create impactful experiences for the students. Great gyms and fields. The music and arts program is beyond advanced. SHS has all types of clubs that hosts a ton of school activities and parents are highly involved! The environment is fairly diverse but very obviously segregated. The programs SHS offers for college prep was/ is very effective. Though, school culture has work to do regarding equality and security. Sequoia high school is an amazing academic investment for students and parents who want to experience growth.
Overall, the curriculum is pretty good at covering the studied topic. The teachers are very nice and are welcoming to students every day. I would like to see change in some of the students because I feel like their not actively engaging with the content.
Sequoia is a great school with a wide variety of resources offered to students making them stand out in college applications. Overall the students and staff are welcoming and the campus is great. There is a lot of student involvement and a great environment in general with teachers pushing you to be the greatest version of yourself. The clubs and classes offered are amazing with something there that will get the attention of every student at Sequoia High School wether it’s science, literature, or visual arts!
