I transferred to this school system when I was in 8th grade. My parents separated then divorced when I was in 10th grade. This school has been with me through many emotional trials. It is a small town environment and they have treated me like family. I have been an active community member, in Beta Club, team captain for our Girl's Varsity Soccer team for two years, in youth leadership and a connect crew leader.

The one thing I would change about my school is maybe a little variety. We do not represent a very diverse culture here at Sequatchie County High School, but I am appreciative of them making me feel as though I have always belonged here.

I overall have had a very good High School experience at Sequatchie Co. High School. I would like to see more diversity in our school system. I played soccer all 4 years of high school and would like to see more emphasis placed on girls as well within our school system. I have been pleased with my high school experience at Sequatchie Co. High School but my wish for future graduates would be that our school would work more closely with parents and students to prepare for the financial burden of college and how to prepare as a Freshman. Thank you for considering me for this scholarship.
I believe sequatchie county high school is one of the better schools in the district. The academics are very well and the teachers are very kind, helpful people. They know how to get the job done. Our janitors are very good and we have a very clean school and we take pride in that.
