My daughter had an unwelcoming / bad first semester freshman year experience at a waldorf-type school. She visited September School, felt loved and flourished from there.

Today: She's going to a great college from her list of colleges that were 'like the September School.' Think the Colleges That Change Lives (CTCL) list.

Absolutely true. It is why, when requested, I stopped everything and wrote this review.

My daughter attended September School and found it a welcoming environment after some difficulty at her other school. The teachers created a great community and really got to know her. They saw her gifts and were sure to encourage them. She's on her way to her first choice college next year and September School made it possible.
My son attended September School and the relationships the staff developed with him made him a better person. He is a successful college student now and I attribute much of his academic success and personal maturity to the teachers and counselor he had at Sept School.
