The school has a diverse and creative community, making it an easy place to fit in and still be yourself. It also has a lot of options to help you grow even after you graduate. Some of the other students can make the school a hassle, but otherwise it's great!

Nicholas Senn High School has provided me with such an amazing and profound high school experience. The IB programme has challenged me to take risks and go out into my community to provide awareness of public health. An exciting topic that provides awareness to prevent diseases and injuries that could potentially interrupt the well being of people in a community. I've learned that not only are IB classes college readiness classes, but they allow you to dig deeper into your own personality and act upon an issue which you are passionate about, mine being becoming a public health advocate. Senn is also partnered with Loyola University of Chicago which is able to offer some of its great resources that allow students to research or greater issues and events. With our colors green and white the bulldogs can bark through anything!
During my four years of high school, the most I take from Senn would be how well they prepare you for college. I’d say this school does an amazing job with preparing students for the environmental change they’ll experience after high school. One thing I’d like to change however would be the funding of the sports and art departments. Very talented young students attend Senn and it was saddening to see how the budget cuts to these departments effected/limited their passions.
