Even though, I still attend Seneca High School, I am set to graduate in the next few months. The only reason that I attended this school was for the pre-veterinary program. I do not recommend the school to anyone who isn't there to major in an agricultural related career. As for the school itself, I feel as though there are A LOT of fights and disobedience among students. We've been in the news several times for acts of violence or a gun threat. Personally, I got out what I put in so my time here was worth it. I've had some amazing opportunities here with the agriculture department, especially in the pre-veterinary program. That is honestly the only reason I stayed at Seneca despite many flaws in other areas. The school itself needs more disciplinary action towards the students who constantly misbehave and act out. There needs to be more structure overall. Am I glad that I went to Seneca? Yes. I have done exceptionally well academically and I feel career and college ready.

I have been here since 2016, and I will be graduating on the 2019-2020 School Year. Seneca has left a remarkable impression on me. They have allowed me to explore my possibilities. They have allowed me to become the successful young adult that I have became. They also have an ROTC program that I recommend to anyone who decides on Seneca for their School. The ROTC program helped shape my behavior in both life and school.

Unfortunately, Seneca is with fault. Too much drama happens here. Fights sometimes happen every week. I like to sometimes call this ¨The Weekly Rumble¨ as an inside joke. Some students do nothing but skip and/or disrupt class. Teachers have an hard time controlling them due to how the Administration punishes these kids. The Academics don really prepare us for college. The Classes are a mix between the ones who want to learn and the ones who treat it like a teenage daycare. The Sports Team can even win a single game.
People who dislike Seneca, are most likely bad kids. People who like Seneca, do the right thing—and they normally like it. I fall in that category. I LOVE Seneca, and I hate when people talk about with no knowledge. The staff are amazing, they always want to help. They reach out to the scholars to make sure they’re good. They always help seniors ensure they’re college ready. They provide sooo many clubs, ACT prep, a lot of sports, etc. From Seneca, you’ll get a lot of real world knowledge and book smarts. The teachers care. I gave it 4 stars, and not 5, because the content we learn senior year is so easy that it’s boring. I personally like a challenge.
