I am currently a student at Seneca, it is absolutely fantastic, most of the teachers are amazing and actually are interested in what they teach. The only issue I have is the problem with discipline, I think that the principles and teachers need to be a little stricter and get rid of the some of these students because the things they do are terrible and they need to learn that they are unacceptable. As for the school board problems, they don’t exist the school board is made up of parents of children in the district and they do an amazing job. The environment is pretty good, there isn’t really any bullying and the only real problem is the lack in discipline. New students are always welcomed and can easily make friends. Also the food is great!
I started out my academic career on a bad note.I have had an IEP since Kindergarten. By the time I entered the fifth grade, I was able to change this to a 504 plan. The teachers I had really helped me to overcome my learning disability. I had a speech impediment and I have dyslexia. I now speak clearly and I worked very hard in school. Recently I was accepted to university! Hard work and determination really pays off. Talk about a turn around! I never thought going to college would be in my future. I credit my mother for having patience and working with the teachers to make sure I was receiving all of the help that I needed. Sometimes, I was discouraged, but, I would take a break and get back to studying. This has helped me to become an honor student and take school very seriously. I hope in the future to be able to help others being that I want to major in social work. Thanks for the great start Seneca High School teachers!
Seneca High School is a small public school outside of the small town of Wattsburg, PA. At Seneca there is little to no diversity. We are all white country students who like trucks. Most of the teachers are actually really nice here and care about their student. As long as you give the teachers respect they will return the favor. It's pretty easy to pass a class at Seneca. The work load is just the right amount.
