Very good school. The Health Academy program is comprehensive and competitive. Students are able to finished school prepared to work at any health facilities depending on the certification completed. My son is now very knowledgeable on how to take care of basic health related issues. He also completed CPR courses and is certified. While on the health academy he had opportunity to explored other areas of study which gave him additional experience.
My only disappointment was some of the teachers did not take advantage of the technology provided to communicate with parents. We had various situations were grades were not posted to the website leaving us the parents wondering what was the real status in the classes. Usually these teachers will be the ones that would not respond to emails either.
Overall the school is great!

Seminole High is a large campus with much diversity in the student body and faculty. There is much ethnic diversity; Seminole’s population is split between Caucasians, Africans, Middle-Easterns, Hispanics, and Asians (mainly Chinese and Indians). Many different electives can be taken, ranging from cooking to physics to orchestra. The school offers three different academic programs: Health Academy, International Baccalaureate, and Traditional. Another thing that makes Seminole High cool is the different levels of class subjects, which offers more challenge or simplicity if desired; this being Advanced Placement, honors, and general. Despite finding school to be an absolute bore sometimes, there are teachers throughout the campus that make lessons interesting by adding humor or blasting music through the halls on Fridays or something else as light-hearted.
As an IB student, I am receiving an amazing education and have the best teachers on campus! The rigor of this program is preparing me for college and teaches the students time management and ensures that we are motivated in order to be successful.
