The academics are excellent, with a new AP course added every couple of years, as guidance and staff try to push students as hard as they can. There are plenty of clubs and activities, such as Band and Math League. School culture has been questionable as of late, given the rise of substances such as juules. The school has plenty of resources, and if you cannot find what you are looking for, the staff will try their best to find it for you. The school is not very diverse, given that Seekonk is a primarily white community. Most students feel more than prepared when they go to college. However, Administration has rolled over in 2018-2019 school year, leading to a sharp decline in top down leadership. Most of Administration seems to be out of touch with the student body and often do not communicate with them. The food is pretty good, and there is plenty of variety. The facilities are well kept, despite the building being constructed in 1965.

Seekonk High is an overall amazing school. The teachers are absolutely amazing I've learned so much these past 4 years of being here. Seekonk has taught me a lot. I have become much more comfortable around people through sports and my social skills have improved immensely. Besides the teachers, the coaches for every sport are extremely helpful, especially Mr. Frank Mooney that taught me how to throw a shot put, discuss and a Javelin. I would highly recommend this school to any parent that is going to enroll their child here.
SHS is a medium-sized suburban high school. Graduating classes are usually 165-175. There are plenty of choices for clubs and sports. I was able to play field hockey, outdoor track and was on the co-ed, co-op ice hockey team. I also joined clubs, honor society, and was part of STV News broadcasting on the school network. Lots of opportunities! Great school!
