I loved Sedan High School very much. I pride myself in being a Blue Devil! The entire staff at SHS were amazing. They always helped people when they could, they never turned people away, and we were all like one, big family.

Sedan high school is a wonderful place to be able to study and be prepared to enter the world. The small town environment makes a peaceful environment and helps to enhance learning.
I have been in big and small schools. I moved around a lot but when I finally got to settle down it was in the small town of Sedan, Kansas. Since the end of my freshmen year I have been at Sedan High School. This school has taught me a lot of things including that I can be myself. It has allowed me to grow in many ways and be involved in many activities. I play volleyball, basketball, and softball. I have lettered in sports and I am in Letterman's Club. Our school is quite small so everyone who plays one sport pretty much plays all sports. This allows all of us to be close and have each others back. I am also involved in an organization called Future Farmers of America and it is one of my favorite things about this school. I am the treasurer and one of my favorite things to do in this organization is go on our National Convention Trip at the end of October. This organization has helped me tremendously throughout the years to become more outgoing and a better leader. FCCLA, also known as, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, is another organization I am involved in at my school. I am the vice president for this organization and the main thing it has helped me with is leadership and my favorite thing to do is S.T.A.R. events. This year mine is about teaching younger kids about bullying to prevent future bullying in our schools. I am the secretary for FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and I love this organization because it helps me stay in touch with God and my christianity. We meet every thursday morning and we also have other activities that we do. The last two things I am involved in are the school play and choir. It brings out my character and I love getting together with fellow classmates and just have fun singing and acting.
