I have been apart of the Seckman family since the 1st grade and I could not picture myself going to school anywhere else! There are some amazing teachers in this school that have impacted my life greatly and I know after high school they will be friends of mine. More than anything I love how close our school is. Yes we are filled with about 1800 students, but it amazes with the size of our school how small it feels. You really do get that "home town" feel.

The building needs work, the seems to be spent on sports mainly and looks
Not actually education or essentials..
We bought TVs that are hardly used
We got fancy drinking fountains which are nice, but aren’t necessary. Most of the teachers seem to try to do their job and have some sort of a good relationship with students.
We aren’t perfect but we try
Our special needs education is pretty good, we try to be as inclusive as we possibly can with our peers who need extra help. Honestly it’s a highlight of our school, we all support and try to help them out if needed. When we have our special olympics everyone tries to take part and support them.
I think our aids/teachers need more props than they’re given
Same with our other non teacher staff
They do a lot and that’s appreciated.
I enjoyed my overall experience at Seckman High School tremendously! I felt like it really provided a true high school experience all while providing superb discipline and safety. The school absolutely enacts their safety and discipline policies everyday. The teachers at this school really care about their students and enjoy what they do.
