Extraordinary learning environment, unlike anything else I've experienced. It's hard to create a synopsis for this type of education due to it's unique sophistication. Words I would use to describe this school and it's curriculum are: intentional, holistic, meaningful, dynamic, integrative, beautiful, kind, wise. The children who come through the length of the program are noticeably confident, inquisitive, and prepared to set forth on their next step in life. They have strong foundations in learning and a sense of who they are. If you are at all curious about this school I would encourage you to take a tour, speak to some of the parents, and meet the kids. We happily commute from West Seattle to Seattle Waldorf each day because for us it's THAT remarkable of a school!!

This school is a treasure hidden in plain sight. Strong, devoted teachers. Close knit small school with uplifting, diverse community which is especially valuable in a big, growing city like Seattle. These kids all grow to know each other really well, like family. Lots of different ethnicities from around the world coming together and sharing this beautiful culture of education together. This is where children learn to construct meanings, not simply to manage information.
Amazing school. Both of my children graduated from here and both were accepted to top universities. My oldest is now entering med school at the top of her class. In looking back, both my children agree that the education they received at Seattle Waldorf gave them the tools and vision to be successful.
