From Seattle Christian School

Founded as the first non-denominational Christian School in greater Seattle, SCS has made a positive impact in the lives of thousands of children and young adults. For 75 years, our quality faculty and staff have taught and mentored students from the south Puget Sound region. Our purposely built K-12 campus is designed to encourage students to discover their gifts and passions, expand their knowledge and skills, and develop their character.

I would describe my experience at Seattle Christian School as interesting. I have been going to SCS since third grade, so I have had a lot of experience with this school. The best part of SCS is the teachers. I thankfully found amazing teachers in the secondary, specifically high school. It is because of these teachers that I chose to stay and SCS and I am extremely grateful for them. They have helped me personally and academically and I have become close with them. Another aspect of this school that I love, and have stayed for, is the people. I have made great friends here that I hope will be lifelong. The worst part of my experience would be the lack of school functions and spirit, such as pep rallies and dances. I felt this took away from my high school experience and left me wanting more. Without these fun breaks, school is quite draining. I hope they will do better in this area in the coming years so high schoolers can have a fun and exciting experience to look back on.

Review Seattle Christian School

We love Seattle Christian! From the small class sizes to the caring teachers, I know my kids are getting exactly what they need to prep them for life to come. Each teacher has been so intentional about getting to know each of my elementary school kids. When it came to the pandemic, they pivoted quickly to remote learning, and continued to get better and better at it until we could all come back in person. Change can be hard, but SCS rolls with it well!

Terrific school with competent and caring teachers, and administrators and staff. Small class sizes allow teachers to connect and teach kids effectively and there are a lot of extra-curriculars for those that want to partake. Faith and biblical teaching is prioritized and lived out!
