Seaside Neighborhood School is an amazing middle school. It’s great location gives many opportunities for hands on learning and career mentoring! Going to such a creative and unique school made my middle school years fun and challenging (in a good way). As for teachers, they are PHEONOMIAL and I couldn’t have asked for better teachers and mentors throughout my middle school experience.

Seaside Neighborhood School is dynamic in nature- constantly changing and improving, much to the benefit of its students. Being a fledgling school (established in 1996 and its sister school, Seacoast Collegiate High School, established in 2013), some issues still exist within the system, but as previously noted, are being eliminated. The environment is amiable and accepting, and with a select amount of students (approximately 100 students in the 9th and 10th grade), the unique strengths of each individual are highlighted. Many hands-on learning experiences are utilized, including field trips to a local beach to collaborate with the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA) in constructing artificial reefs for a Marine Science class. Overall, Seaside Neighborhood School prepares a student for real-world experiences while instructing in a unique and effective manner.
I was drawn to Seacoast Collegiate High School by the opportunity to graduate high school with both my high school diploma and my Associate of Arts degree from a college. Overall, I have had a great experience.
