What I like about Seaside High School is the relationship students get to build with teachers and staff. I like all the differents activities we are able to do, during any grade. Also, I like all the academic advising and support that is provided at my school for programs such as GEAR UP, ETS (Educational Talent Search), and EAOP . Secondly, my high school is well diverse, allowing us to learn more about different cultures, stories, and traditions. Lastly, I like that my school provides college level classes from Monterey Peninsula College. In addition, what I would change from my school will be its discipline, dress code, and the way they choose new teachers, because it is really important to have discipline so that students are capable to follow rule if all adults inforce it. Have at all times respect for their teachers and adults, and be a able to communicate with another with respect and value each other, instead of putting one another down.

I love the AP and Honor courses they have there. The teachers there really know their stuff on the matter. And so do most of the teachers on their respective subjects. but most of them get walked over, especially electives since they usually get the students that can't enter any other classes because of their low grades. As a result, elective classes tend to get chaotic. The food there is okay. Sometimes it's well above decent such as meatloaf, other times it makes your stomach churn. The college readiness programs are there to help you from the first day you go there. But they are often neglected by the students until senior year. Despite some notable incidents, the school feels safe, although the school could teach some of its teachers on how to stop fights.
My first impression of the school is the food they serve! We have different menus and rotate frequently. The lunch ladies are nice and willing to solve any problems. Our cafeteria are decorated with inspirational quotes, pictures of motivational figures, and our chairs and tables is black and red; just lie our school color.

The next thing that draws me in is their JROTC program. Almost all the cadets know and befriend each other. We motivate each other through our training. We root for each other in all competitions and take home many trophies. The cadets taught each other many things that we didn't know.
