Searsport District High School, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated schools in our state. The Schooling and learning from this school are some of the best I have ever experienced! The teachers provide a lot of detail and understanding within their respective fields of study; my favorite was learning history from Mr. Tupper! Not only that but the students and colleagues you're surrounded by on a daily basis is incredible; a lot like my college, everyone is so accepting!
And the sports, I was named best goalkeeper in the state of Maine for my 4 years of high school while also picking up three state championships in baseball! I was a near 1000 career assist maker in basketball, gaining 857 assists to end my career. This was all because I had the best coaching staff ever! Coach Frye, Coach Grant, Coach Pepin, and Coach RJ will always be influential role models throughout my entire life!

Small, extremely rural school in Maine. Math classes are horrendous, the sciences used to be incredible but the teacher retired my senior year so I'm sure they're as bad as the math classes now. Arts and music are lacking due to the small size and little resources of the school. Great baseball and softball teams.
I’ve been there since headstart and it’s okay. Not the best, kinda crappy. Not many opportunities for AP or honors classes. Not that anyone from our school would get in
