Freshman: My freshman year at McCallie was great. I'm a science-oriented student and McCallie had so many opportunities for me to explore my interest. This year I joined the science bowl, biology research, HOSA, and Future Medical Professionals clubs. I was able to conduct research at McCallie's awesome cell lab and won some prizes at a local and state science fair! The clubs I joined were all run by students with a teacher advisor and were very active. Most clubs would meet at least once a week to prepare for whatever event we had. Additionally, I joined McCallie's Natural Conservational Guild (NCG) which is a club focused on preserving the environment. It was really fun to clean up local rivers and trails as well as start our own garden next to the dining hall. Regarding classes, they were all amazing with extremely supportive teachers who are willing to work with me and they gave reasonable homework. Also, the campus is amazing. Junior: I really like the experiences you get ay Baylor. With it being a boarding school you get to meet all of these different people from all over the country which is really cool! I really like the freedom and the liveliness of the school. The only thing I would like to see change is the boys and girls sports. Works Here: Fantastic place to work--there are few educational institutions in the Chattanooga area that put such care and love into the way they educate their students and prepare them for the next phase of life! Across the board, there are multiple places for students to be involved, find joy, and become the best version of themselves as they are set up perfectly for their next stage of life at a university. Parent: My family is in love with Bright School. We have two kids that have attended since kindergarten. We appreciate the attentiveness and love from the faculty and administration, and the excellent academic standards paired with wonderful support. There are loads of sports, camps, clubs, etc. My kids never want to leave! Parents are welcome to participate on campus and volunteer for class events such as plays and festivals. Parent: We have been thrilled with St. Nicholas! Our son is thriving in small classes with caring and knowledgeable teachers. We love the well-rounded curriculum: he has technology, Spanish, music, studio art AND art history, and gardening each week. The daily chapel services have messages about inclusion, the Golden Rule, empathy and belonging to a diverse global community. The academics are strong and students are taught from preK to become responsible and independent learners. Parent: This school is solely focused on preschool and elementary education. This allows all of their resources to go towards early childhood development. Parent: St Peter’s is a wonderful school! Their curriculum and enrichment classes make it a rare and exceptional environmental for children within a smaller setting. The teachers and administrator’s love for the students is evident in their attention to detail and their dedication to the program.
