Senior: If you talk about Hopkins County Central to anyone that knows the school they would say something about rednecks. Which is true. We have many students who enjoy the outdoors, but thats not all we have. We care for one another, we make sure everyone can reach their highest potential and we also have loving and caring staff members. In 2016 we have started a Legacy. For example, our football team has won many games compared to years ago. Our dance team places high in nationals, and our boys basketball team started the first games of the season 4-0. Besides our sports, our test scores are pretty high! As a senior at HCCHS, Ive absolutely loved my experience here. One thing I wish could change is the diversity and how people treat the school. So many people talk about Central but really arent aware of things that happen indoors. Every student in that school has potential, and we have the staff and amazing students to help each other succeed.

Parent: My sons have been at KCD since Kindergarten. My older son has decided to stay at KCD for high school. We feel we have given our sons the best educational experience possible. Yes, it's expensive. Many families make financial sacrifices to afford to send their children to KCD. There is economic and ethnic diversity here. The students are involved in clubs, sports, and the arts. The class sizes are small, the teachers are willing to provide extra help. The parents work together to build community, the administration is open to hearing new ideas. If you are looking for a school for your children, come take a look. See for yourself. You'll know if it is right for your family.
