Alum: I really liked the academic challenges I was put against in Danville. I think the school offers a wide range of courses that are beneficial to college. However, now that I am in college I wish I would've had a couple more classes to expand my knowledge. I have found myself wishing there was a "biology 2" class in Danville to make my current college biology class less difficult. I also wish there was an "Anatomy and Physiology 2" class to better prepare students who are planning on going into a medical profession.

Parent: I am the mother of a pre-primary student who is in his second year at NFA. Our son is in a small class with an exceptional teacher. The classroom is warm and loving. The physical space is full of light and learning tools. NFA educates the whole child: with his teacher's support and guidance, my son has excelled both socially and academically. My son has forged strong relationships with faculty members and school friends. Since beginning at Norwood, he has grown so much in how he expresses his feelings as well as how he navigates friendships and interpersonal conflicts. Simultaneously, he has found his footing academically - impressing me daily with what he has learned and how enthusiastic he is to have learned it. The teacher uses technology to stay in touch with parents and keep us apprised of what is going on in the classroom each day: she organizes learning centers that deliver instruction in such a creative and fun way! I know he will be extremely well prepared for kindergarten.
