Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School
- Wilkes County Schools, GA
Alum: WWCHS was a school that loves challenge. The school is rather rigorous and tests students to the fullest. It takes more credits than most other schools around Wilkes County, and it is definitely a school to choose if you appreciate harder classes. Most of the teachers are amazing in their fields, and love to help students out as much as they can. The teachers truly care about their students and it definitely makes a difference in and out of the classroom to see caring teachers. The only big downside is the lack of diversity in the electives department, considering there are only around 5 departments, and most deal with only agriculture or business. This can be a challenge for students (like myself) who are not very interested in these electives, however if you are interested in the academics, you are allowed to get your elective credits in your academics instead of electives. It truly is a fantastic school with a caring staff, rigorous academics, and a ton of school spirit.
