Alta Aurelia High School

- Alta Community School District, IA
Alum: Alta-Aurelia High School was a good enough school. It had decent teachers who seemed to really care and know what they were teaching about. The building itself is in nice condition, and the food wasn't horrible. They had some strange rules like you couldn't be in commons area during the school day, but it wasn't too bad. They upped their security recently too by having you buzz into the office to get into the building. Overall, nice small school.

Kirov Academy of Ballet
- Private School
- Washington, DC
Works Here: I have been working at the Kirov Academy since 2017, and have found the staff & students friendly. The students are very talented, even performing for a week at the Kennedy Center in conjunction with a major company! The teaching staff, both academic and artistic are professional, run an excellent program that prepares the students well for both companies and university placement.

Storm Lake High School
- Storm Lake Community School District, IA
Senior: When I first moved to Storm Lake, Iowa, I was a 7 year old and was amazed that there were people that looked like me. Everyone around was friends. They all included everyone. That trait has continued into Storm Lake High School. I am truly lucky to have been able to attend a school with great diversity such as Storm Lake. Each year our school organizes a day in which everyone can express and teach others about their culture. Diversity day is organized by students that allows others to set up their own station. There is everything from traditional clothing to traditional dances. At Storm Lake, I have been able to grow academically and as a person. I have resources all around me whenever I need help.
