Kirkwood Senior High School
3 Best Public High Schools in Missouri

Alum: The campus of KHS is absolutely phenomenal. Especially the quality of atheltic fields, gyms, and architecture design being fitting for all students. The teachers and faculty are very considerate of the success for each individual student when I attended until graduation of 2016. Kirkwood implements an outstanding amount of technology and supplies students with iPads (now laptops) being distributed for academics. They really impacted me with school spirit and supplied many different options for courses that fit a vast amount of interests. I am proud to say I attended 4 years at this high school and can call myself a Pioneer!

Ladue Horton Watkins High School

Junior: Ladue Horton Watkins High School really is a great place. The students here are hardworking, diverse, friendly, and accepting. The curriculum is difficult, although plenty of students at Ladue take multiple AP classes throughout their high school career (I know several kids who are taking 9-10 by the end of their senior year.) My only issue is that although the kids here are nice, they can be a bit cliquey, so it's best to establish a friend group as soon as possible. Other than that, Ladue Horton Watkins High School is a great school!

Parent: Our daughter has been at Rossman School since Senior Kindergarten. She is currently in fifth grade. We couldn’t be more pleased with her success at Rossman. The teachers, staff and administrators are very forward thinking and were able to take a shy little girl and transform her in to a leader, both academically and socially. We feel Rossman is very strong in all academic areas, but we are particularly pleased with the writing and math programs. We have witnessed our daughter become an excellent writer in both her creativity and grammatical skills. She successfully draws the reader in with her opening sentence. With the rigorous math curriculum, she is far ahead of her peers that attend other schools. Rossman also instills confidence in their students. The children begin oral presentations at whole school gatherings during their first year at Rossman and continue throughout.

Senior: Most of the teachers are super friendly and engage the students well. I wa sin the gifted program - Idea lab - and had an amazing experience with that. The exploratary classes are super fun and there is a large variety of art classes, FACS classes, even robotics and wood working. There are also a ton of clubs like Ski club, science Olympiad, and board game club and a lot more. The district is wonderful.

Webster Groves High School

Senior: Overall, I love wghs. The community is so close, and there are so many clubs and activities to choose from. If you play a sport it really limits your ability to be in a club. It can be hard to get involved within the school. Also the school doesn't give a crap about the orchestra program despite being one of the best. The orchestra is growing exponentially and no one seems to care. The child development classes are the best! I definitely reccommend those. Webster has been my home for the past 18 years but I'm excited to leave and bring on this new chapter of my life.
