Senior: I am a current senior attending Cleveland Early College High School and I can honestly say that my overall high school experience here has been wonderful. Academically this school seems to be extremely adaptive in order to make sure that all students have everything they need and more to be successful. It can be challenging at times, balancing both high school and college level curriculum but when a student utilizes all of the materials that are available through the college and through the high school it is definitely manageable. All of the teachers and faculty are always willing to help and assist in virtually every way that they can. We are always expanding our community outreach and club activity through the school and have been successful in recent years. It's a small school, so diversity is a bit of a challenge that we are slowly but surely counteracting. All in all, it's a wonderful school.

Burns High School

Senior: Throughout my time at Burns High I have learned many things that will give me college readiness. Because of the teachers devotion to our students education and their ability to give students with hardships a chance to strive, they are wonderful teachers. There are so many resources available to the students at my school and is one of the reasons why I have reached greatness in my journey so far. Administration make the students their top priority and are always concerned on how they can improve the safety, and also the experience at the school. We have so many events that occur after school, such as games and after curricular actives. I love my school and it would be really hard to reach my goals on my own if it were not for them.

Roanoke Catholic School

Senior: Roanoke Catholic is a school that teaches students belong the classroom and prepares them for either college. In the past years, 100 percent of Catholic seniors have attended college and this year the seniors have received over 2.5 million in scholarships. I started Roanoke Catholic two years ago and it was a big change coming from public school. In public schools you could slide by without doing your homework, but at Roanoke Catholic all work is required and graded as a test grade. Roanoke Catholic does not let you fall through the cracks. I also must say the food is outstanding!!
One thing I really did not like were the uniforms. In public school you basically wore what you want, but not in private school. My first year the gentlemen had to wear a shirt and tie during the winter and in the summer a polo shirt with the school’s logo and khaki pants or shorts. This year they changed the dress code to where gentlemen could wear the polo shirt and khaki pants all year around.
