Parent: KCD is is an excellent school for many reasons: The environment really supports developing a multifacted child: a strong emphasis on academics, community, and citizenship. All students, no matter their interests, are exposed to the STEAM curriculum, the arts, academic teams and athletics. There is also plenty of opportunity for each student to “dig deep” in their personal area or areas of interest. This is true of students in the lower school through the high school. Students and parents alike will find that the sense of community at KCD is strong and inclusive. Our family, with three students enrolled across divisions, loves this school!

Senior: The overall experience I’ve had has prepared me for the college work next fall. The coursework is very challenging, and the honors classes truly advance your learning.

Senior: The faculty, teachers, and student body are some of the most amazing and supportive individuals in my life, give or take the odd few. However, funding seems a bit off (especially for music and visual arts programs, which basically fund themselves). It can be hard to get things done at times but that is understandable. I had an amazing four years and PCC and made memories that will last a lifetime! But the food sucks.
