Centralia High School
132 Best Public High Schools in Missouri
- Centralia R-VI School District, MO
Niche User: It was my experience that teachers and other faculty were caring individuals whos focus was of the betterment of students who strived to better themselves however it was also my experience that teachers lacked the equality of students as a whole and those students involved in athletics were favored towards as sports seemed to be more important as a whole rather than education and disipline.
Diversity was at a moderate level also and again it was my belief along with most other students that the level of diversity applied to the individual student , their economic level and whether or not they were involved in athletics.
Although my staments here may have seemed somewhat derogatory , Centralia High School was a milestone in my life that I will never forget and am proud to have had the privilege of attending there.
A special thank you to the teachers and other staff and my fellow classmates.

Nerinx Hall High School
- Private School
- Webster Groves, MO
Parent: Nerinx allows for your daughter to grow in independence and support to help her define who she is as a person. She becomes confident by having so many clubs and activities to be a part of, to help her find her best interest. There so many interesting classes and challenging classes to choose from. What's even more impressive is the teacher and administrators engagement with the students which allows for our girls to have critical thinking skills. Our daughters are challenged and excited for their freedom to express themselves confidently both inside and outside the classroom. I'm happy to say that I feel very confident as a parent that my daughter will be well prepared as a future college student.

Moberly Senior High School
- Moberly School District, MO
Alum: There's a lot of good things about MHS that I miss a lot in college, and most of them are teachers. I really loved so many of my teachers, and had incredibly close bonds with them. Almost every teacher at MHS is willing to do whatever it takes to help you succeed as long as you're willing to put forth effort as well. The administration has a tendency to be a bit overbearing at times, and it feels a bit being constantly micromanaged because they're so afraid of the handful of bad kids doing something wrong. I'm not sure whether I'd be willing to go back to high school, but going back to MHS wouldn't be the worst thing.
