Junior: It is a very stressful school full of academic rigour which makes it very difficult. However, the resources and generally supportive school community is incredibly helpful and helps me and others keep our head afloat. There's a very strong "we're all in this together" mentality that makes it easy to seek assistance and support from fellow classmates. Finally, our music program is without a doubt, the best part of the school. Everyone is so close and supportive it--as cliche as it sounds--is a family. Alum: It is a good school. The small classes make it easy to learn and easy to make friends. I’ve graduated now, but when I was there I loved it. However, since I’ve gone, I’ve heard that there’s been bullying and the rules have gotten stricter. A bad thing about this school is that the rules are very tight and many of them are not important. There was a general feeling of anger towards the faculty because of that. However, the education is exceptional, and I heard that many classes are taught one grade level above what is required. When I was there, they had choir, theater, creative writing, extra math, and PE as their extracurriculars. That was a few years ago, so I expect they’ve expanded or improved on their classes. Junior: I am currently a junior at MMACHS and attending this school has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! The staff and students are amazing people, and to me, they feel like my second family. Everything at MMACHS is amazing, whether it be the academics or the extracurricular activities. Furthermore, this school has provided me with so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to experience if I was at a public Highschool. Parent: 2020 was the worst year to start Kindergarten. All the challenges that these teachers faced. We have one teacher to thank for the amazing advancement for our twin boys and that is Sara Wolf. Sara was able to control in the sweetest and gentlest of ways and two entire online classrooms of Kindergartners to everyone’s amazement. Our boys didn’t miss a beat even during a world wide pandemic. Thank you Sara for everything you did for all of these little kids this year. We will never forget how effortlessly you made teaching online look. Also a hats off to the two ladies at the front desk who run the school. AMAZING work. This school gets an A++ from us.... Senior: At Meridian Technical Charter High School, I have learned so much. I was able to easily take dual credit classes, learn at a fast pace, and be prepared for a career in Computer Science! This school prepared me for college and a job through many college readiness classes and internship opportunities that I would not have been able to earn before. High School Senior: I loved my overall experience at Heritage Middle School. The school is very unique in that, there is very little bullying and everyone gets along. The administrators and teachers make sure that everyone is treated fairly. I could really tell that the teachers truly cared about their students and always took extra time to make sure their students were understanding the concepts. Freshman: As a student of Victory Middle School for 3 years, and I can honestly say that I LOVED my experience. The teachers aren't afraid to get close to their students and are always willing to help out. They also have many different opportunities for students to help them grow. There are classes to both help you improve when you struggle, as well as advanced and honors classes to challenge you and prepare you for not just high school, but college. Plus, the music courses are so fun. I was in choir for 3 years and my teacher was supportive of everyone, quirky, helpful, supportive, and one of my favorite teachers. Also, the students are great. Everyone is kind, and friendly and is willing to help out a peer. This school was amazing! I owe thanks to all the teachers at this school that I was close to because they helped prepare me for the high school that I was fortunate to attend. I recommend this middle to ANYONE! High School Senior: My experience here overall is really amazing. All the students accept who who are even if you are a different race to believe in different belief. Also the students her are slightly judgmental, which is the only thing our school need to work on. We have amazing teachers at our school, we can walk into their classrooms anytime of the day and they would always have smiles on there faces and are always willing to help you if you need it. My best experiences here were at the football and basketball games. These games brings our school together, which is a lot of fun.
