Wisconsin Hills Middle School
Middle school student: I met so many awesome people at WHMS. All/most of the teachers genuinely care about their students. While it starts hellishly early in the morning (buses come around 7:00/6:55), I stay awake because the teachers make engaging lessons. This is also the only middle school in the state that has a mock trial program, which I am proud to be a part of. The extracurricular programs are great. There are a wide variety of sports offered. The music programs are pretty good.
Some problems:
1. The gifted and talented program is... mid
2. There's not a lot of passing time - 3 minutes seems like a lot, but sometimes it really isn't enough especially with problem #3.
3. Small lockers. The lockers are TINY. For each class, we have a binder, maybe a notebook and a folder, and we have all of our extra supplies, etc, on the top shelves. With our lunchboxes, homework, school stuff, etc. in our backpacks, they barely fit in the lockers.... Read 9 reviews
