Alum: I attended Davison High School for four years and was quite involved... I was apart of the Track and Cross Country team, as well as the student council and some other after school clubs and the music program. I developed better social skills and felt that my education provided the proper knowledge I needed to move on and go to college. The community involvement with our school was great and it really felt that we were a family, open and accepting of all people. Our teachers were very caring and would invest there time even outside go the class to ensure that we felt safe and taken care of. Our facilities were good and have recently been voted to be updated and renovated. Overall the High school experience I was given was Excellent.

Senior: Lapeer High School is a wonderful environment to subside in. I am truly proud to call this place of education, my school. From the teachers, to the students, to the clubs offered, I have had a wonderful four years at this facility. Although, every wonderland has it’s downsides. School lunch for one, is probably the worst thing that I can say about the school. No matter where you travel, public schools mostly have boring food. Don’t get me wrong, I DO eat the food. Although, it is the same thing every week. I wish there was a variety instead of every single Tuesday being nacho day! Also, I wish there was a little more of a discipline set in place for bullies. I have witnessed a few people within my school go through this extreme experience. There is not much punishment besides a slap on the wrist for people’s actions. Overall, Lapeer High School is a school that I am proud to say that I have come from.

Alum: The thing I enjoyed most about KHS would be all the people. I enjoyed KHS because they tried to make everything feel like home truly. Sometimes the teachers would push people to do things whether that was actually studying or getting on them in class, but it was for a reason. They all wanted you to succeed, nobody wanted anyone to fail. I remember something that happened awhile ago where we had a KHS graduate get into a car accident and everyone in KHS whether they knew the kid or not grieved. He was a part of our family. You could really see everyone come together and make sure everyone was okay. We also recently had a teacher pass away, and I am currently graduated from there, but everyone that had went to KHS or currently goes there grieved, and we all came together again for that. And I think that's one of the greatest things I enjoyed about KHS. We were all family whether we liked it or not.
