Senior: This school offers you at least an AP course per year, which is a pretty good way to gain national college credit. The alumni are friendly and easy to get along with. The college classes are very manageable with the schedule and the lunch period is more than enough to wind down from the morning classes. Although there are not many extracurricular activities like football, band, and dance; there are still clubs that can be joined. From mock trial, to chemistry club, and of course the competition opportunities. There is National History Day and others like UIL. The deeper you get involved the more community service hours you get. The only drawback is the number of college courses increases per year so that you might take up to 6 in one semester. If you don't fail any, you might graduate college before high school and take classes at UTEP for a semester. The school is number one in the city for its philosophy; college readiness. Sophomore: I have learned a lot over these past few years of being at Silva and I will say that you will learn a lot. Most of the teachers here are really passionate about what they teach and are really understanding. One thing that I don’t like about this school is the amount of homework that they give us. Usually, the amount of work isn’t took overwhelming if you’re good at time management, but if not, then most people will stay up until around 2 in the morning finishing assignments of projects that are due the next day. Senior: The best thing I would say about Transmountain Early College High School is that teachers are ready to work with you especially if you need help on assignments or homework with the tutoring hours they offer. I would specifically say the math teachers, which is a good thing since a lot of people struggle in math. One thing I would change about this school is the safety. Anyone who is not a member of the school can just walk in, and that is not safe. The reason why is because we are not all in one building. Each portable is a different classroom outside, and collectively we form the school. However, I do love that since the class sizes are small, we form a sort of family because we are sharing the same rigorous work and environment. I know that personally I have made a lot more friends attending this school and it is truly awesome! I would hope that I stay friends with at least one or two of them since after this point, we'll go in our separate directions. I would say to attend here.... Read 261 reviews

Freshman: I am currently a freshman (Class of 2026) at Northwest Early College High School and love the school very much. The academics are excellent I mean the school is located next to El Paso Community College (EPCC) where we earn our associate degree. The teachers are very understanding and willing to talk and help their students with their work. The school offers a variety of different clubs and if there is a club that you would like to make you can. For example, some students started a podcast club. This school has some amazing events especially during spirt week. During spirt week all the classes compete against one another for the sprit stick. High School Senior: My experience at Tippin Elementary was very good. I am able to say that majority of the staff and teachers are very educated and responsible to the point where they all expect for their students to strive in excellence academically.
