Senior: My time at Lakeside High School has been filled with special and monumental moments, academically and personally. During these 4 years, my passions for the arts expanded as I explored photography and ceramics. I challenged myself to take a total of 6 AP courses in high school, excelling in each course. I managed to keep my grades up while actively participating in extracurricular activities. Without Lakeside's resources and guidance, I would not be able to prepare for success in college and so forth. Parent: I have two kids in this exceptional school. The teachers are all phenomenal and bring out the very best. The school has clubs and activities for every type of child. Alum: I graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2022. I had grown up through the Greenbrier schools since 1st grade, and I absolutely loved it! I made many new friends all four years of attending high school, and formed wonderful connections with my teachers. The teachers are understanding and are willing to help students succeed in the learning and personal lives. The staff at Greenbrier High School care about other workers and students at the school, and do everything they can to help improve academic life and make the students and other staff feel safe. One thing I would like to see change at Greenbrier High School is more focus on other programs at the school, for example the fine arts and music departments. Greenbrier High School has an excellent and very successful music and fine arts department, and I believe the school should allow more funding for programs like that. Alum: Riverside Middle School was great! It was the first time I had felt challenged by school work, and it therefore forced me to learn to work harder before high school. My only issue with the school was how often bullying occurred and did not seem managed in the best way. Senior: Evans High School has been a very good school for me, especially during my junior and senior year. The school is quite diverse and almost every teacher is able to teach their subject in a variety of ways. Although the school administration hasn't been the best recently, due to some new faces, the amount of college courses such as dual enrollment easily makes up for it. I've personally taken four different college courses and once I graduate this May, I will have already taken and passed the two English courses needed for my degree in aerospace engineering.... Parent: The IEP Team is exceptional! I was worried because I knew I was sensitive about my son’s disability and I heard a lot about black and white treatment!! That was the furthest thing from the truth, those ladies and that gentleman were awesome!!! My son loved them and he advanced in his learning. He was a HANDFUL!! They knew I was passionate and it definitely takes a village; especially with special needs kids!! They were always there for me and my son…ALWAYS!! I just pray GTMS is just as good!!! Middle School Student: My experience at Tall Pines Stem Academy has been a great experience. Tall Pines is a charter school in Aiken County. All students are accepted through a lottery. I enjoy that this school has outdoor learning experiences and is smaller than an average middle school. This school also includes 5th-8th graders which expands the age range here. An interesting experience that I have gone through is our "Packs". These are randomized teams that group students of all grades. Each team has a different name and all names are different types of trees. Due to having PE every day, my classmates and I stay fit while enjoying the variety of activities. The activity I enjoyed the most is pickle ball. In the mornings we stand on the basketball court till 8:00 then do the pledges. I would change that we would go inside in the mornings instead of waiting outside in the cold. I would also like for my school to dismiss from inside the building instead of waiting outside in the cold/heat like the mornings.... Read 2 reviews

Alum: Grovetown high school is an amazing school and everyone is so nice. The administration is wonderful and they care for the school safety. I didn’t like the crowdednesses that was in some halls. I did like how the teachers cared for each and every student and they are all super nice. I also loved going to school events, they know how to throw football games and all of the other sports, and for my senior year both girls and boys basketball teams won state championships.Overall Grovetown high school is an amazing school....
