Alum: I loved going to high school here! It’s a small town with a small high school. I loved how everyone could be everything at this school but because that’s true it makes it hard to have tons of AP and honors courses as well as many sports teams. Loved my teachers all very good, but I do have friends who had very poor math teachers. I feel this is one department that the school is lacking in. FFA program is awesome! The Athletic Director and Trainer make for a great small school athletics program. All throughout when I was here and since the school has been improving facilities and constantly adding new clubs. Overall I love THS!

Junior: Arroyo Grande High school so far has been amazing! I am a junior currently this year, and the administration and counselors are really helping me be ready and prepared for college. They set students up for a road to success, and they also offer classes for students who fail to yet reach this, and to help them get back on track. We are offered many opportunities to help decide and set the future we want for ourselves. No matter what challenges students face, the teachers, administrators, and counselors are always there to help. This school has really pushed me to my full potential and has not let me give up on myself.

Senior: A few things that I love about this school is that the teachers actually care about the student's well-being and life, the students are generally have a much more flexible personality, and the football games are always something to look forward to. Mainly the whole school is an overall nice place to be. The only downside would be the food provided. There isn't many healthy options and the fruit cups tend to cost more than the bags of chips, and to eat a certain food, the whole meal needs to be bought which costs around three dollars and fifty cents to four dollars.

Senior: I have had great experiences at my high school. The teachers here are here to help students and get them to succeed. It's incredible and I wish I could stay stay longer, but I must leave at the end of the year for college. The only thing I would change about this school is the school spirit. We have a pep rally once a year at the end of the year. I wish they were more often because I leave that gym feeling pumped and excited! I love them!

Alum: I loved my teachers, the students weren’t extremely inclusive but as I grew out of my shell from sixth to eighth grade I learned how to get along with pretty much everyone on campus. Coach Bodenshot was incredible and so was Mrs. Hoier. My math teacher Mr. Austin never let us down when it came to entertainment as well as challenging curriculum (geometry was the worst, not because of him though, the subject just wasn’t fun). There were enough G.A.T.E or honors programs in both English and math so I could keep expanding my knowledge. I did learn a lot and I still talk to a couple of the teachers from there!

Senior: Nipomo high school is an extremely welcoming school. Student here are kind to one another and actively try to get their fellow students with disabilities involved. They respect their campus and rarely leave messes or trash at lunch or break. Nipomo high school has a lot of pride for being who they are and are even the number 1 FFA school in the state! If anyone is interested in getting involved with an amazing FFA program, this school is for you. Nipomo also has a great robotics team. Overall my experience with Nipomo high school was immensely positive.

Parent: As soon as you enter, you can tell this place is different. The front desk lady is very welcoming and helpful. Teachers really care. The facilities are outstanding and the best in the county. Their programs keep my daughter active and interested. Great place.
