Senior: Rappahannock County High School is rather unique in that it has only around 300 students(including 8th grade as the county has no public middle school) and is surrounded by gorgeous country side, woods, and mountains. The community here is quite tight, with none being left out or alienated as even if cultural and racial diversity isn't prominent, ideal and social diversity is huge. There is a group for everyone. Thanks to the majority of teachers being prevalent with small classes there is a good class environment. As far as academics, its 50/50.
There are much fewer opportunities for advanced classes here than at most schools and most AP and DE classes must be taken online. Another thing to mention is some incompetency with the administration, as a result of lack of enforcement to do more than the minimal as well as messy scheduling and lack of communication at times.
Nonetheless, I am proud to be a senior at this high school, but am also glad that I will be leaving soon.
