Junior: The High school for Health Professions has helped me grow into the person I am today. From freshman year to junior year, I have grown mentally and physically. The environment is overall excellent! The students and some teachers, make time at school exciting. Although the school is small, it is not less than any other school. The opportunities the school gives are very helpful. From CNA certifications to dual enrollment, High school for Health Professions prepares students for a better future. One way I think the school can improve is by offering a library and computers. Many students, including me, don’t have access to a library and resources that could help. Such as, computers and printers. Overall, my time at the High school for Health Professions has been great and very beneficial. Senior: I've been attending Branchville school since I was in the 5th grade. My first day, I had no doubt that I would fit in because everyone that I met, even the teachers, just took me in as family. The community is amazing and so involved with everything. Branchville High School and town will always hold a special place in my heart and come graduation day, I'll be sad to leave and start my life, but I have no doubt that I'll be back.... Sophomore: Edisto High is a VERY diverse school. With teachers and students from all over the world, students have the ability to learn about people from other cultures and races. Senior: All the teachers always find a way to help students out. The environment of the school is incredible for all new students and old ones. Everyone gets along, it’s never really a problem that goes on there. But for the most part, I like how it small and everyone knows each other and can communicate on different levels and platforms to where you can get to know everyone. Alum: My overall experience at school was great especially compared to most. We didn’t have the insane bullying. See my high school was very small in fact so small that our elementary, middle, and high school all shared one school . Our main our classes were on one hall and the extracurricular activities were on another hall. My graduating class was around 30 of us . Everyone in the school knew each other or were related. Alum: I attended William J. Clark Middle School and my experience there was the best so far. I liked my teachers and my classroom. I was in the Gifted and Talented Program. My teachers challenged me to do better. I felt very comfortable everyday when I went to school. I met my two best friends that I still have today. My greatest memory was my basketball career there. I wasn't the star in the 7th grade, but I was in the 8th grade. I helped to lead my team to a 22-0 record. I received MVP and Best Defensive Player. Of course there are changes. The first is the food menu. I rarely ate. There were many days my mom took me to Burger King after school. I didn't like the separation too much between the Gifted and Talent and the other students. I had a lot of friends that were not in the program and I only saw them after school. I wished that was different. Yes middle school gave me some of the best memories. Senior: In all honesty, I love the family feeling O-W brings. Orangeburg Wilkinson High School is a very large populated school but, it’s location in a small city where it isn’t known for many great things. What I love most about my high school is the fact that our admission staff is amazing they truly push us and help us. The seniors feel the love and help the most because we’re the example the younger students look up to so the staff members make sure the leaders are doing well basically. Another thing I love about my school is they help the athletes and artists out a lot. Many of our senior athletes have been signed to great colleges for their athletic ability and I say it’s thanks to the coaches in charge who spread the word for them and helped them get the offers they received. O-W is the big bruin nation that many students could’ve and should’ve experienced. I honestly don’t think my school should make any changes because it’s a great school as is.... Read 280 reviews
