Junior: I very much love the school I go to and have been privileged to attend since 7th grade on a generous scholarship. My teachers are my favorite part: the maximum class size is 16, so the individual attention students get is critical to learning and understanding material. They are also available and flexible with their schedules to help the student as much as they can. With clubs and activities, students can join a myriad of different options or, if they want, just create their own! I'm in a bunch myself and it's awesome to be around other kids with similar interests. The facilities are first-rate and always kept fresh and updated. Parent: A very warm, friendly, nurturing school where my children thrived. Generally excellent staff and small class numbers mean kids get individual attention and personalised support. Academics are strong. The student body is very mixed, from local New Yorkers to families from all over the world. Teachers are mostly British, as is the curriculum. The school has all the benefits and drawbacks of a small school - great family atmosphere and support of every type of child, but not enough kids to allow for team sports.
