Earlham Senior High School
- Earlham Community School District, IA
- Rating 3.48 out of 5 31 reviews
Senior: Earlham is a small town with around 1,000 people as a whole population. With a town this small, everyone knows everyone and that means the community is also a support system. Without the community aspect, being a student here wouldn't have been as uplifting as it was.

Senior: I love that I was able to earn my two-year AA degree while I was still attending high school. To make this possible, I was dual-enrolled with Winterset and Des Moines Area Community College. Many teachers were able to teach college-level classes, and with the remaining classes I needed that were not provided at Winterset, I was able to take online through DMACC & Winterset paid all the expenses.
On the flip side, I did not like sports at Winterset Senior High School. It seemed like the name game was played, especially when there are connections with teachers both coaching and teaching. I was involved in both volleyball & soccer my freshman & sophomore years, but I stopped playing because I felt no one felt any importance for the levels underneath Varisty. The school is gaining improvements to its sports though as our school went under complete renovation last year. We now have an expanded weight room, new performance gym, modernized classrooms/bathrooms, etc.

Senior: I have enjoyed going to this school my whole life, and it has been fun growing up here with everyone. I love how small my grade is as well as our school as a whole because everyone is friends and we all look out for each other. It is also fun since everyone knows everyone, and we all talk, so we all know what is going on when something does happen. Since our classes are also small, the teachers care about us and genuinely pay attention to how we feel and are always willing to help us out if something is wrong. I do wish there were more classes offered, but I love the ability to take college classes online here. Our sports are fun and since we have small teams, it is nice we do not have to have tryouts, so anyone can play all four sports if they want to and be constantly active, it is really nice this way.
