Alum: I went here from 2011 - 2013. I attended two elementary schools in Palmyra and Pine was definitely my favorite. There was a great culture of enthusiasm, learning, and fun there that I've heard carries on to this day. The unified art teachers were awesome especially. Like other Palmyra elementary schools, they also have great traditions, like the annual tug-of-war competition between the 5th grade classes. Alum: I'm from the class of 2020 and and I can say PHS has a very warm atmosphere - it definitely feels like one big family. There's always a new meme or inside joke to make everyone laugh, and the teachers are very laid-back and love to have fun - it's not unusual to see them candidly having a KanJam tournament in the hallway! There's also a lot of cool traditions - for one, the senior class gets to leave a week early at the end of the year, and on the first day they're gone, the Juniors get to dress up in togas and have a cook-out in the parking lot to celebrate being the new leaders. Another example is Free Rita's Day, when students get out of class early to get free Italian ice in the atrium. Additionally, the school always tries to do something for finals, like bringing in therapy dogs to roam the school to help kids feel better. Senior: My experience of Cedar Crest High School may differ from others. I feel that Cedar Crest High School was a great fit for me. I took some honors and AP classes and I felt the challenge I needed to grow in those subjects. I also played basketball! Cedar Crest was a highly organized school when it came to athletics. The staff, coaches, teachers, janitors, and so many more administration were a big help in creating a good environment for the students. Also, our school did a great job at organizing fun activities and events for us! We had homecoming dances, pep rallies, proms, senior weeks, etc. Cedar Crest High School will definitely be missed once I go on to college. So many great memories were made there! Alum: I went here from 2008 - 2011 so take what I say with a grain of salt. Within Palmyra Area School District, Northside certainly gets a bit of a bad rep. However, I mostly liked my time there. There were a lot of fun events and the playground is my personal favorite in the district. The three bad teachers I remember having have all since retired, and the ones I liked mostly still work there. It also feels like a very safe school because of how distant it is from the rest of Palmyra - it's mainly surrounded by baseball fields and horse farms, which was always enjoyable as a kid.... Senior: Annville-Cleona Secondary School is a great place to go to school. The size of the school is less than most high schools, and it is a great community. The location is great, being near Hershey and Harrisburg. The teachers and students are all very good and there are a lot of choices for classes. There are a lot less choices in the first two years of school however, and a limited number of AP courses as well. Senior: A very close knit community, that holds good small community values but lacks diversity overall. The academics are good and the High School offers a variety of AP and College level courses to take; students have the option of dual enrollment to further their education as they see fit. Niche User: Lebanon High School was a very good experience for me. I loved how the education system works, how they applied todays technology to interact and educate, how the staff treats the students, etc. LHS help me improve my education and learn more in a whole year. My past school was in Puerto Rico, and we did not have the same education system as LHS, but gratefully I could have the chance to improve a lot of things and enjoy the benefits that LHS offers to their students. I learned what responsibility is and the teachers where really good, and i also improved my GPA. I loved LHS and there is nothing i would change about this high school. THANKS LHS....
