Senior: I'm thankful I was given the opportunity to attend Florida Southwestern Collegiate High School. The fact that I'm given the chance to graduate high school with an associates degree coming from a low income household opens many doors for me. I met the absolute best people I have ever met here. I wouldn't trade them for the world as they are my best friends ever. However, I do wish the admin treated my class with a little more respect. We get thrown to the side like garbage when it comes to the other class. We've been through COVID and a massive hurricane. We haven't gotten even a fraction of what the other classes have.... Senior: Charlotte High School does provide its students with a lot of opportunities, whether it be volunteering to making sure the student graduates. However one downside that risen over the pass four years I've attended is the limited options of advanced classes. Charlotte High School has adapted the AICE curriculum for most of its courses. Which is financially great, if you want to stay in Florida, since mostly Florida schools accept AICE credits. Because of the AICE curriculum and other factors, the amount of AP courses available have slowly been diminishing. Which overall kinda limits graduating students to applying to state school if they want to go to college in the long run. Senior: Great environment! the staff is very friendly, the staff is very helpful and always there to help anyone in need. All after school activities are very entertaining! so many different sports and event everyone can attend and show up to. There also are such a variety of classes and options for all the students. Lemon bay gives opportunities to all their students to succeed and go very far their future careers. The counselors are all very helpful with education, tests, career opportunities, internships, community service. This list could go on and on on how much lemon bay strives to help every one of their students attending lemon bay high. Students here also get to go for different aice and honors classes if they would like. These chances while you are at Lemon Bay are limitless and even if you think you miss one opportunity there is always so many more teachers help students find. Niche User: PCMS is a school that operates on mutual respect. Students are asked to set goals, and use leadership. Parents and community are welcome. Principal LeClair even conduct tours for people. They have strong academics, lots of sports, and arts programs. There is an amazing band and chorus program. Last spring, the music department performed at Disney World. There's a Drama Club, SWAT team, Builders Club, National Junior Honor Society, and more. This school received the highest grades of all CCPS middle schools it's a B school, but came very close to an A. Everyone's trying hard to achieve that, this year. Mr. LeClair was a middle school student, here. Kids respect him, because he served as a U.S. Marine. He, and his AP s Mr. Kunder and Ms. Lutz, are fair, and they like kids. Visit the school. Alum: Overall Murdock is a great middle school, kids get exposure to different people than who they were around for elementary school. Teacher and staff are very friendly, and classes are geared towards educating children.
