Works Here: Best teachers, students and parents. Highly progressive school district. Small class sizes allow for individualized education and one-on-one attention. It is a small beach community with a big emphasis on outstanding education.

Hammonton High School

Senior: Hammonton High School provided me with the most eclectic high school experience I could have asked for. I loved the academic environment in which I was able to prosper thanks to amazing teachers, competitive classmates, and innumerable opportunities. I was also able to compete in a competitive athletic conference as a four year member of the varsity field hockey team. I was involved in several clubs and organizations like: National Honor Society, Student Council, Executive Homeroom, Green Club, World Language Club, and Future Nurses Club- which all provided me with so many unique experiences in which I learned more than I ever expected. The only thing that Hammonton High School should change is its grade scale outline. While some of my classes have been on the AP scale, they all haven't, and it's frustrating to know that my GPA could've been approximately a whole point higher if my high school was on the ten point scale like millions of others around the country.

Alder Avenue Middle School
#7 Best Public Middle Schools in Atlantic County

Alum: Alder Ave. is full of opportunities with the instrumental clubs, sports clubs, and artistic clubs. The teachers are average, some are very involved and enjoy teaching, and like any other school, there are teachers that are below average. The food is pretty good and the chances to get involved in a school wide activity like painting a mural on the schools walls is amazing.

Senior: Atlantic City High School provides the best education. It has academic, honors, and advanced placement classes. If students take all advanced placement classes and received A's, they will have a high chance of getting into an Ivy League school. This school provides numerous amount of extracurricular activities after school to get students to be involved with programs outside of school. There are lots of clubs and sports for students to join. The amount of diversity in the school is amazing because students can meet people from around the world. They can learn what their traditions are, what they eat every day, and most importantly their culture. One thing I dislike about Atlantic City High School is that some students do not even know their manners. The students will even start a fight because they can not control themselves. A possible solution is to create a program to let students know the consequences of the fighting.

High School Senior: Being at my high school gave me so many so opportunities . I could try anything I wanted , be anything I wanted , accomplish anything I wanted . They give you so many events and responsibilities in this school that there's no specific time you'll be heading home because you know there's so much to still do here . Run for president , join the Spanish interest club , be apart of the prom committee , help build the garden outside our library , its all endless and random . This school is unique because not only do our activities keep us busy and happy , our faculty and staff keeps us happy. We treat each other like family and enforce our school pride on anyone and everyone. Most of our teachers were students at this school. Everyone has their own reason as to why they love my high school and would come back. But that's the thing , EVERYONE has a reason .
