Academy of Saint Elizabeth
- Private School
- Morristown, NJ
Parent: The Academy of St. Elizabeth’s is the best kept secrets in Northern NJ. I have two daughters that currently attend and having experienced both a public-school education and a faith-based education, Saint Elizabeth’s is by far one of the best decisions my wife and I have ever made for our daughters. Classes are small so students aren’t lost in class discussions, teachers are top notch and engaged, the administration is always willing to make an effort on a student’s behalf, facilities are beautiful for they are a high school on a college campus! The students go on to attend some of the best universities in America. They have comradery, respect for one another and a very strong sense of school spirit. In comparison to other schools Saint Elizabeth’s is very reasonably priced. My daughter said “Dad, I knew it would be good, but I never realized it could be this good…” That said it all to me.

Hammonton High School
#5 Best Public High Schools in Atlantic County
- Hammonton School District, NJ
Senior: Hammonton High School provided me with the most eclectic high school experience I could have asked for. I loved the academic environment in which I was able to prosper thanks to amazing teachers, competitive classmates, and innumerable opportunities. I was also able to compete in a competitive athletic conference as a four year member of the varsity field hockey team. I was involved in several clubs and organizations like: National Honor Society, Student Council, Executive Homeroom, Green Club, World Language Club, and Future Nurses Club- which all provided me with so many unique experiences in which I learned more than I ever expected. The only thing that Hammonton High School should change is its grade scale outline. While some of my classes have been on the AP scale, they all haven't, and it's frustrating to know that my GPA could've been approximately a whole point higher if my high school was on the ten point scale like millions of others around the country.

Alder Avenue Middle School
#10 Best Public Middle Schools in Atlantic County
- Egg Harbor Township School District, NJ
Alum: Alder Ave. is full of opportunities with the instrumental clubs, sports clubs, and artistic clubs. The teachers are average, some are very involved and enjoy teaching, and like any other school, there are teachers that are below average. The food is pretty good and the chances to get involved in a school wide activity like painting a mural on the schools walls is amazing.

Atlantic City High School
#8 Best Public High Schools in Atlantic County
- Atlantic City School District, NJ
Parent: ACHS is absolutely one of the greatest high schools in Atlantic County.
The teachers truly do care, the guidance counselors actually guide! The extra curriculars and the clubs are all fantastic.
The school is extremely clean, they have one of the most gorgeous libraries I've ever seen!
The security does have to be there. And I am glad for that. They do their jobs. But they develop good rapports with the kids. So it's very safe. So many people have a preconceived notion of what they think the school is.
I would highly recommend ACHS to any parent or student. The large group of ethnically diverse students is great, as they don't see one another as any different because of their race or religion. They see their friends. It is a public school; with a bit of a private school "family" feel

William Davies Middle School
- Hamilton Township School District, NJ
High School Senior: Being at my high school gave me so many so opportunities . I could try anything I wanted , be anything I wanted , accomplish anything I wanted . They give you so many events and responsibilities in this school that there's no specific time you'll be heading home because you know there's so much to still do here . Run for president , join the Spanish interest club , be apart of the prom committee , help build the garden outside our library , its all endless and random . This school is unique because not only do our activities keep us busy and happy , our faculty and staff keeps us happy. We treat each other like family and enforce our school pride on anyone and everyone. Most of our teachers were students at this school. Everyone has their own reason as to why they love my high school and would come back. But that's the thing , EVERYONE has a reason .

BASIS Independent McLean
- Private School
- McLean, VA
- PK, K-12
Parent: Our son is currently in the 2nd grade. He has been at the school for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers, who are truly experts in the subjects they teach, is infectious. They consistently set high standards for all students at every stage of their academic career. This is a school that prioritizes academics and the students themselves; it is targeted to students with intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are very happy here!
